A $64M wealth manager whose site had outgrown the speed it was built at.
Arca Wealth is an AI-native fiduciary wealth manager: Series A, $64M raised from General Catalyst, Index and Venrock, with a team of about fifteen, eight of them engineers.
Its site runs on Framer and was built the way early sites are, in the team's own words quickly and through many iterations. Landing pages were forks of each other, type drifted from page to page, and a hero loading bug had survived several fixes.
Arca already had designers and engineers. What it needed was senior design and front-end capacity that works inside that team, on their board and to their standard. So this engagement is a seat, not a scope.

Shipping from their board, into a live paid-acquisition funnel.
First ticket: on a cold visit, the homepage hero showed its flat fallback fill before the image decoded, then snapped in. The cause was load order, five layers each appearing on their own schedule.
The fix holds every hero behind a veil that exists in the server-rendered page and lifts once the image and fonts are ready. Reduced-motion visitors skip it, and a 2.2-second fail-safe means it can never hang.
Second ticket: the type audit found 248 exact typography permutations, with about 0.3% of text layers on a shared style. We kept Arca's typefaces, Register and Telas, and consolidated behind them into 17 semantic styles that now carry 3,711 references.
Since then the work has moved toward acquisition. We build the paid landing pages and their test variants in Framer branches, and replaced a nine-step intake with a six-question inline form. Its investable-assets answer now tells the growth team which keywords bring in qualified leads.
Every change goes through Arca's review. On the type branch a stakeholder compared production and staging at 900 pixels and sent back nine corrections, each fixed before final QA.

Next projects.
